- Ventilation: Printing materials such as ABS and PA6 CF releases volatile organic compounds and ultrafine particles. Ensure your workspace is equipped with local exhaust ventilation or a HEPA and activated carbon filtration system.
- Temperature Boundaries: Avoid heating filaments beyond their recommended processing ranges. Thermal degradation can release hazardous decomposition byproducts.
- Post Processing Dust: Mechanical finishing, such as sanding, grinding, or cutting printed parts, can create airborne micro particulates. Wear a suitable dust mask with an N95 rating to avoid inhalation.
